Screen sensitivity/ghosting.

I have a just over 1 year old I phone se 2022. My problem is an area on screen where the letter W is on keyboard seems “extra sensitive” so that when you try to type any letter around it it just types the letter W constantly and will even type it whilst your finger is just hovering over the area & not even touching the keyboard. It will do this on the Home Screen also choosing to open the app (just happens to be the files on iCloud) instead of any chosen around it. On first use it acts normally but then faults soon after and remains this way until you close and start again.

I have tried all the potential solutions I can find for similar issues - cleaning screen, removing screen cover & phone case, accessibility settings, hard restart and am on current iOS. The only thing I haven’t tried is a full factory reset which is a total last resort for me.

Can anyone help me find a solution to it please ?
