Time Capsule backups
My time machine backs up two iMacs to a Time Capsule. In case of a fire, could I just grab the time Time Capsule itself? (I think I know the answer, but I'm being super cautious.)

Yes, you can certainly just grab your Time Capsule.
However, if your data is critical to you, you should not rely on just your Time Capsule, but also use additional backup methods.
