Here is a way to rejoin a conversation on iMessage on your iPhone 12 Pro without writing to the parties:

Ask someone in the conversation to add you back. This is the only way to rejoin a conversation if you left it yourself. Anyone in the conversation can add you back, as long as there are still at least three other participants remaining and only iPhone users are in the group.
