Hello I got an older iMac model A1145 from 2005 from a dumpster and it has a password I know there is a way to make a new admin account so I can delete the old one and make the Mac my own if there is someone out there who can help please help. Thank you

The only way to reset and use that iMac is to use the original Gray Disc set.
Or optionally Use a compatible (Tiger or Leopard) Upgrade DVD.
My advise is to put it back where you found it or responsibly recycle it.
