The Sing option in Apple Music on Apple TV seems to no longer be an option. I used to be able to use it with Apple TV but the mic button no longer appears. This is true even in songs that used to have the option.
The sing-along Mic button to filter out the original vocals (partially or in whole) is only available on the Apple TV 4K (3rd generation) [A2737 or A2843] with A15 chipset. Do you have one of those?
Apple Music Sing may not be available for all tracks. If the on-screen lyrics show partial word highlighting, instead of full sentence highlighting, then those tracks support Sing.

Mic button also disappeared for me, I was using it but all of the sudden it was removed. My 2nd gen with 17.5 does show partial word highlighting. Doesn’t look like a hardware limitation to me.
Did the most recent Apple TV OS update get rid of the Sing option in Apple Music?
