How do I connect an extra Apple Watch so I can monitor my sleep?

Could it be connected to an old iPhone? It just keeps telling me it failed with my password?

Hi granada54,

While it's unclear what precisely you mean by pairing an "extra" Apple Watch for this purpose, the page Track your sleep with Apple Watch provides information and options for tracking sleep using an Apple Watch.

You may also want to set up a sleep schedule or review data using the steps in Track your sleep on Apple Watch and use Sleep on iPhone.

If you just need to pair multiple watches, the page Set up and pair your Apple Watch with iPhone includes the following:

"Pair more than one Apple Watch

You can pair another Apple Watch in the same way you paired your first one. Bring your iPhone near your Apple Watch, wait for the Apple Watch pairing screen to appear on your iPhone, then tap Pair. Or follow these steps:

  1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap My Watch, then tap All Watches at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap Add Watch, then follow the onscreen instructions.

See the Apple Support article Use more than one Apple Watch with your iPhone.

To learn how to set up a watch for someone in your Family Sharing group, see Set up Apple Watch for a family member."

Regards.
