How Do I delete someone else's photos that are connected to. my MacBook Air without removing it from their phone

Originally this MacBook Air was my moms, and I changed everything to my information though, her photos continued to stay on the Mac. How would I be able to remove them without making any changes to her actual photos on any device?

Properly Handing Over a Mac:

Export her photos to a computer for her, and then set this up anew, as if you were to sell it. Have your mom perform as instructed here, including the iCloud logout: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, Trade in, or Recycle your Mac - Apple Support
