Disabling double tap zoom in Chrome or Safari, not iPad itself.
Only in browsers like chrome and safari I double tap or more likely tap really quick and it zooms in and cancels my input, anyway to fix this on chrome?

Hello taco3351,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities.
This Apple Support article explains how you can use the zoom features in iPadOS: Zoom in on the iPad screen - Apple Support
Enabling the "Zoom Controller" as explained above may be a good solution for you.
You can also send feedback directly to Apple if you have other suggestions to make this feature more useful: Product Feedback - Apple
Take care.
This absolutely does not help. I’m having the same issue, where I’m on a mobile web page in chrome and when I tap the screen quickly in one spot the page zooms in and out. I’m using a BPM tracker and I can’t use it effectively because if I tap the screen too quickly all it does is zoom in and out. You provided a link for the accessibility zoom option and how to turn it on, the issue has nothing to do with this three finger double tap accessibility option to zoom in the entire screen on the phone. It only has to do with a feature on chrome and safari where if you single finger tap the screen too quickly it will zoom in and out, which we would like to turn off because it’s annoying and useless. Now that the issue has been explained further please find a solution because I can’t find one anywhere on the internet. Using desktop version of the pages don’t resolve the issue either.
An actual real reply that takes into account that this official reply is NOT it would be helpful.
