Hearing Aid Bluetooth Static issue with iPhone

I have a rushing sound or static sound when my iphone is paired to my Phonak Audeo hearing aids. This is present when streaming audio or making a phone call. Changing from Adaptive bandwidth to Fixed bandwidth does not make any difference. Turning "Hearing Aid Compatibility" ON or OFF in Settings/Accessibility/Hearing Devices does not make any difference. I have the latest IOS (16.6).

I stumbled across this, which seems to work. It uses the iPhone MyPhonak app, and is easiest if you use the the iPhone Picture-in-Picture (PIP).

a.    Enable PIP in iPhone Settings/General/Picture in Picture/Start PIP Automatically

b.    While streaming a CNN video, switch to the MyPhonak app.

c. You will be in a MyPhonak program called “Bluetooth streaming + mic”

d. Click on “Ambient balance” at the bottom of the screen, and then adjust the balance to be more Audio and less Surroundings (see screen snaps below).

NOTE:  The program “Bluetooth streaming + mic” is not otherwise available from the MyPhonak interface.  However, the adjustment is retained and the annoying static or rushing sound is eliminated from iPhone audio.
