Hi is anyone else having problems with Phonak hearing aids randomly disconnecting from bluetooth?

Thank you for posting your question to the Apple Community. Unless someone using Phonak posts an answer to your question here, we have no access to feedback sent to Apple, in order to be able to answer Yes or No.

Hearing Aid users of many manufacturing brands do have connection issues at times.

In the case of Phonak ... seems none of their hearing-aids appear in the list pf "Made for iPhone" (Mfi) models.

So, the only option is to see if particular Phonak Hearing Aids will connect ok as a "Bluetooth" accessory.

You may want to check if this the connection method you use:

Trouble-shooting disconnection problems in general:

You may wan to check whether your iOS version is up-to-date: About iOS 18 Updates - Apple Support

or

You can see if an uodate is available in Settings > General > Sotware updates

(NB: Reminder: It is always wise to back up your iPhone before updating)

Else: Try restarting iPhone to re-establish the connection. Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

You could check whether the Hearing Aids need a firmware (or, if used, an app) update.

(ie: For firmware updates: consult the manual for the hearing aids, a hearing professional, or app if used.)

There's not much more we can suggest for hearing-aids from manufacturer's models that have not been produced as "Made for iPhone" (Mfi) compatible.

Maybe check with your hearing-professional. or re-check Phonak's instruction manual. You could also look for more support or tips for your particular hearing-aid model on their website ...
