While in a call screen freezes and can’t use any other features. Unable to click on links unless I turn phone off then back on. Iphone14. Took it to Best Buy and they said nothing was wrong with it. Anyone else have or having that issue?

Make sure that your iPhone 14 has been updated to the latest iOS and that is IOS version 16.6.

If you have already updated to iOS 16.6 and the issue still persists, then:

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

Troubleshooting an Unresponsive Screen:

A. Close All Apps:

An app is accessing the something in the background. So, close all apps. Hold you finger down as you swipe up from the bottom-left corner, to the top-right corner. Then, close all of these open apps, by swiping up quickly for each app.

No succes?...

B. Reset to Factory Settings:

If this keeps occurring, then I recommend you backup what need be, and then factory reset your iPhone --all will be set to how it should be. Enable items like Contacts and Photos in iCloud Settings, so that all syncs with iCloud, and is not lost. Use this link: How to Factory Reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
