still verifying, and can't call, message, data. but sim is okay

I changed my sim for going abroad UK before leaving for korea where i am in atm.

sim is giffgaff, i swapped this for using old number, and add some credit for just in case for using roaming,

but my iphone cannot verify my number, even tho i put my number by myself. and still showing verifying, and cannot call, message, even data too.

I am so hurry to get verification code by imessage from bank application but it is just happend, so can I get any help asap.

It would be greatly appriciated for your replying

To activate iMessage and FaceTime using your Phone number

First, check to know whether you have an SMS plan enabled for at least One SMS*** with your carrier. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider) the agency that issued the SIM to you
If your iPhone is used with a carrier not found in the wireless carrier articles, make sure you can send and receive international SMS. (One international SMS*** Only)
If you can't turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime - Apple ...
*** You may not have an SMS plan (Domestic & International) enabled by your carrier for the SIM/eSIM that you use on your device. Apple Inc does not provide SMS services.

Bank verification codes are sent through SMS and not iMessage.
