Signing into Facebook App on new IPad

Brand new IPad Pro with apps pulled from previous iPad. Facebook is giving me a big headache. It will not fully log in. I get a bizarre looking profile and homepage that says it’s me but then doesn’t give me the full page.

Nothing in the FB help and support addresses this. Nothing. I even tried reporting it to Facebook. Nothing. I still have my full app on my phone but not my iPad. It’s infuriating.
