M2 Pro WiFi issues on Aruba Instant

Hoping someone can help, as i'm going in circles with this. Doesn't seem to be much online for this issue, and Apple Support pretty much dismissed it to a WiFi issue rather than MacBook issue.

We have 2 MacBook Pro M2's recently deployed on our corporate environment, ever since unboxing both devices they have been randomly disconnecting from the WiFi. We have other MacBooks deployed which are working fine (2019 Air's).

Our corporate WiFi is an Aruba Instant solution which has a standard SSID with WPA3-Personal. No errors being reported on the clients in the WiFi solution.

The first thought was that it was the same situation as outlined in this article: Some M1/M2 Mac users facing Wi-Fi connectivity and speed issues (9to5mac.com)

"sudo ifconfig awdl0 down" seemed to help initially but the problem persisted.

Its almost as if the WLAN card completely shuts down and then comes back up, re-scans for available networks then re-connects.

MacBooks are on Ventura 13.4.1 (c)

Thanks,

James

Poisoning Internet performance:

By far the easiest way to cause poor performance, instability, overheating and crashing is to install ANY third-party speeder-uppers, Cleaners, Optimizers, or Virus scanners. or a VPN that you installed yourself.

The idea that a third party, with no special knowledge of the inner workings of MacOS, can somehow find a simple way to protect your computer — that is not already being done by MacOS itself — suggests that the MacOS developers are somehow "holding out on you". That is absurd.

You should remove any and all (other than Apple built-in) virus scanners, speeder uppers, optimizers, cleaners, App deleters or VPN packages you installed yourself, or anything of that ilk.
