I received a google calendar invite and after accepting it, it comes back on my calendar screen has not accepted. I accepted it 3 times and it still looks like I haven’t accepted it. Any ideas why?

Hello, I tried accepting it in the email as suggested and it still shows in my calendar inbox. I accepted it 3 different ways and it still shows has not accepted in my calendar.
You may have received the event invite on email or on iMessage. Please accept it there.
