Some Websites will not open properly.

Recently I have been having a problem opening some newspaper websites. The site opens but when I click on a story, it does not open properly. It is like an abbreviated version, unlike what I am used to seeing.

I tried Google and Google Chrome and got the same results. They only open correctly using Firefox.

I have a lot of bookmarks on my Safari and would hate to lose them and have to create them in Firefox.

My IOS is Ventura 13.4.1 and Safari 16.5.2

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.4

also: sometimes changing safari settings > privacy > Hide IP Address to FROM TRACKERS ONLY helps. instead of the option "from trackers & websites".... sometimes, not always.

other times, unchecking it completely might make a difference, which totally defeats privacy.

so true. safari is getting worse and worse. it's truly beyond annoying. we keep abandoning native Mac apps for better experiences elsewhere.

btw, there are ways to import/export/port safari bookmarks to Firefox and other browsers.

also check out: URL Manager Pro. great bookmark manager/utility.

Thanks for your suggestions. I didn’t know there was a way to import my bookmarks and now I will try it, if Safari cannot operate correctly.
