How do I send a digital invite to a business person in a large corporation for a small lunch meeting. He just asked me to send him an"invite"...does this make sense

Add invitees to an event
You can add new invitees at any time.
1. In Calendar on iCloud.com, double-click an event to open it (if it isn’t open already).
2. Type one or more email addresses in the Invitees field.
3. Click Send.
