FCP won't save a new keyboard shortcut that I add to my custom command sets.

I have a new Mac Studio M2 Ultra and I have install Final Cut Pro 10.6.8.

When FCP X lunch I created my one custom keyboard and I have added new keyboard shortcuts for years and now with the new Mac Studio M2 Ultra I am trying to add a new shortcuts and every time I close FCP or restart my Mac Studio M2 Ultra it won't save my new keyboard shortcut. This also happen to me on a clip I did a transform change and the next time I open it didn't save the transform I did to that clip. I think it's a FCP 10.6.8 bug.

Thanks for the help, Ricky.

Whenever the application misbehaves, deleting preferences is a good first step.

To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting FCP X and click Delete Preferences.

The application will start in a default state, and open an "Untitled" library. Reopen the library you were working on, set the preferences the way you like them, and try again.

Some keyboard shortcuts may already be taken by other system functionality. What was the shortcut specifically?

Command-E to export didn't work for me in my custom keyboard that's why I try to recreate a new shortcut. I try with any combination available with E for export and yesterday I try with a combination of option + s (share).

I delete the preference and also delete 2 shortcuts available for "Export using the default share destination" and I make Command-E to export.

Let see if this fix the problem, I will let you know and thanks.

What I mean is that Command-E is associated to another shortcut.

10 minutes ago I change my keyboard setting to use Command-E as export default (PNG), I dit a quick test and shut down Final Cut Pro and restart and when I use Command-E what it did is the clip that I have selected have the audio volume all the way down and when I select Command-E it put tha audio to 0dB. If I go to customize my keyboard if I select command and the letter "e" I don't see any shortcut to affect audio.
