Apple Music landscape mode

My car has a large info screen, but it does not support apple car play. So I just mount my phone in the car. Maps work best in landscape mode, so using Apple Maps for navigation while playing Apple Music results in constantly having to change the orientation from portrait for music and landscape for maps while driving. This is not safe to be doing while driving. Over a decade ago, I had a non-apple smartphone that had a great landscape orientation music app. Why after more than a decade is Apple Music still not available in landscape mode? I remember when I bought my first iPhone, a 6s Plus, I assumed that the next software update would offer the feature. I keep checking online and see so many others asking about the same feature. Please Apple, if only for safety reasons, please offer a landscape option for Music that doesn't require a third party app.
