Acrobat started studenly updating itself and I restarted Mac. Now I cant turn it on.

As in title. I’ve never had similar issue. I prepared file in indesign and wanted to check it but I couldnt open the file. I saw info that the program out of blue started to updating itself. It was urgent matter to send it so I waited few minutes but it didnt help so I restarted my Mac and now I cant open it. The loading bar is freezing in the middle and I cant even open it.

iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 13.4

Contrary to popular belief, Macs do not do things on their own. If an update was done, a user had to have initiated that. Either directly or indirectly via some sort of auto update setting.
