How to unpair an AirTag from an Apple ID I have no access to?

My old Apple ID was disabled I have a new I’d and my air tag is connected to the old one. But I have no access to it how do I reset to connect to my new Apple id

AFAIK, you can't. Unless you still have access to your old Apple ID, that this AirTag was associated with, you will not be able to associate it with your new Apple ID ... even if you try resetting the tag.


At this point, I suggest contacting Apple Support directly to see if there is any option still available to you to get this resolved. To contact them, simply select the "Support" link on the lower left-hand side of this forum's web page.
