Suddenly MB Pro M1 Max email has blank new email screens opening every minute or so. How can I stop this? Every time I start Email on MacOS (M1 Max) Sonoma 14.4.1 blank Email message screens start popping up about once per minute.

In mac mail, opening program also opens faded out message and it cant be closed. Macbook pro 15" running ventura13.4.1 When I open mail program, a faded out email message appears, sometimes 2 or 3 in same window. Does not respond to "X" on tab or red button. Have closed and opened program, rebooted computer. Nothing gets rid of the window. I can write and send new email messages, and respond to received emails, but I can't get rid of the "untitled" email windows.
