Gamepad API fails on Safari (Mac OS Ventura)

Hi, unfortunately I cannot use my USB joysticks in Safari 16 on Ventura (Mac OS 13.3) anymore. The Hardware tester demo fails:

But with Firefox and Chrome this joystick demo works well (on same Mac OS Ventura system).

Any idea is much appreciated.

Safari slow on Mac Mini after Tahoe 26.2 Safari has ground to a halt after Tahoe 26.2 update. After moving away from Safari for awhile (using Firefox and DuckDuckGo browsers in the meantime), I started to use passkeys on my Mac Mini. In reading a bit about using passkeys on a Mac, it was suggested that using the Safari browser would produce a better overall experience so I started using Safari as my primary browser. This change was implemented when my mini was running Tahoe 26.1 and for several days thereafter, everything was fine. (I should note that I wiped out the Safari history before implementing this change…) Not long after upgrading to Tahoe 26.2 I started experiencing very slow performance in Safari - but as others have noted, other browsers on my Mac Mini continued to run at (or near) their usual historical speed. I should note that I am using Nord VPN and I have deleted the history in Safari more than a few times to see if that would improve Safari’s response time - it did not. All while this was happening, Firefox and DuckDuckGo continued to work fine (meaning their response and loading times were on par with what they were prior to the Tahoe 26.2 update). I have also verified that I do not have any extensions installed in Safari. I have completely shut down and restarted this Mac Mini multiple times since this behaviour started to no positive impact. Unable to perform gestures on Magic TrackPad Recently purchased a magic trackpad, but am unable to scroll or perform any other gestures on it. However am able to click using the trackpad. Currently on Sonoma 14.7.1 (M3 Chip) and unable to update to the latest version as the updates are controlled by my org. Faced a similar issue when connected to my personal mac(Intel Chip). However, I was able to upgrade to the latest version after which I am able to perform all the gestures using my trackpad. Seems like a similar issue to this - Magic Trackpad 1st generation not working… - Apple Community Has anyone faced similar issue with the magic trackpad and fixed it without updating the OS version? Thanks in advance.

Magic Mouse USB-C model scrolling not working I received my new Magic Mouse USB-C model, running 3.1.4. The issue is that it does not scroll up or down

I'm sorry but it must be Safari because I use it within an app in Xcode development.
