I am running out of space on my phone. I have the Kindle app there which has a lot of books. I now have an I-pad… and when I buy books I just send to Kindle (which is also now on my I-pad) and I realized it goes to both places. If I delete the app on my phone, will it affect my I-pad? Thanks…

No, you won't lose your Kindle books. Those are stored on Amazon's servers. Unless Amazon pulls the title (that has happened), they will be accessible to whatever devices you can log into Kindle on.
Not sure what is considered “synced” to my Apple ID… just would hate to lose all my books!
