Import Contacts while preserving Groups?

Just updated system (old iMac, 10.13 to new Mini, Ventura). For various reasons I wasn't able to do the Migration Assistant process, and I'm slowly moving things across manually. Is there any way I can import my Contacts from the old iMac, while preserving the Groups they were organised into? Any info greatly appreciated, many thanks.

I was told I could not use MA as I had too much data and MA has a limit even if you use new usb or ethernet cable or even my external backup. At least I'll only have to replace Photoshop which doesn't seem to want to redownload. Anyway, NO MORE! mac move a contact On my mac I am running macOS Big Sur. In Contacts, how do I move a contact from All Contacts to a particular group?

Groups Not Exporting In Contacts Moving to a new Mac and starting fresh with fresh everything. I exported Contacts and they are there but the 2 dozen groups i created are not there. What might i be doing wrong? Any way to put them in short of doing them all over again? thank you in advance for any help.

Create all of your Groups.

Import each group's contacts together

Select all and drag from the Last Import into the Group.
