My iPhone 8plus is stuck on mute when calling out only. Pressing the mute button does not unmute the call. I can hear who I called but they cannot hear me. This is not a problem with incoming calls where I can mute/unmute as needed. Please note this is not a problem with the volume, do not disturb, or anything like that. The mute button is muted when I call out an I am not able to turn it off.

have you restarted the iPhone ie power off/on (?)
