how can I extend my warranty on my MacBook Pro? or are there other options for plans?

I was just wondering how to extend the warranty I have on my MacBook Pro or buy a new plan.

Managing AppleCare Plans:


A. Buying AppleCare: Buy an AppleCare Plan - Apple Support


B. Extending AppleCare: Extend your AppleCare+ Coverage - Apple Support


C. Updating AppleCare:

Apple Care cannot be "updated". If you want to upgrade it, you might be able to cancel what you purchased, and then purchase the correct one. Contact Apple Support for assistance with upgrading it:

Apple Support Contact Us Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there, as necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
