Apple does not get involved with lost or stolen phones, so you know the message is not from Apple.

The message is a SCAM that is trying to trick you into clicking on a link or revealing personal information so the bad guys can get into your phone.

Delete the message and any others that you might receive in the future.

No, it didn't. Please read what we posted above. Just because it might look like an Apple message does not mean that it is an Apple message. Someone is trying to trick you.

Apple does not get involved with lost or stolen phones. Apple will never send a message like the one that you received.

It didn't. A legitimate notification will come by manually checking the Find My service, not through text, email, or anything else.
