I would like to use my new ipad as an extended screen of my Mac book air (os Ventura), im on the same wi fi, my bluetooth is turned on and both devices are updated, but when i connect them with a usb c cable from the ipads charger the mac doesent show ipad on the display settings window.

Is there no plus icon next to your display to add an airplay display? Rather weird this is. Try and disconnect the cable from the iPad and try again wirelessly
It wont connect wirelessly either
