Track changes in Pages tables STILL not working in Pages 2023 version 13.1 (7037.0.101)

Track changes in tables is STILL not working in Pages 2023 version 13.1 (7037.0.101). This treats the table as little more than an uneditable jpg. If Apple wants to give the appearance that tables are actually useful and their contents editable and trackable, then this seems like a necessary feature. Otherwise, why don't you just put a disclaimer on it and save people lots of time by saying you can't track changes in a table. I'm not a software engineer and I don't appreciate the complexities of what it would take to incorporate this. But it's frustrating nevertheless. (But if you can put individual comments in cells, it sure seems like the next step would be to add cell change trackability.)

Mr/Ms. VikingOSX: Thank you for your suggestion. I wrote it so that users like me don't waste hours trying to do something that is inherently not possible. I find that alert function a legitimate use of this forum.

The arduous feedback mechanism for Apple makes such entries a waste of time. There is zero evidence that they consider any of it. Some systems can only learn by seeing dissatisfaction and customer drop-off. If Apple chooses not to monitor a forum they host and run, then so be it.

And, by the way, I don't need scolding or commands.
