Can't go back to track once it has played!!??

APPLE: Please bring back COVER FLOW to your music app! It was organic, intuitive. It didn't need instructions. It was perfect. Why did you mess with it?

That being said, why can't I start playing an album from the beginning, then see the ENTIRE TRACK LIST if I choose to go back and tap a different song? That's pretty much the most rudimentary function of a music player is it not?

As far as I can tell, neither on iOS nor on Apple Car Play is there a clear way to select from the WHOLE PLAY LIST at any time. Once a song has played, I can't figure out how to even FIND that song again without starting the album over from the beginning.

This can't be right. I am missing something obvious, surely. Can someone please educate me on this?
