iPhone 11 locked in SOS mode. Cannot call or text.

My Phone suddenly switched to SOS mode. I cannot call or text. WiFi is still available. My carrier T-Mobile tried switching the SIM card but that did not work. Under Settings, General, About, Network it says that the phone is not allowed. T-Mobile says it won't work with any Network, that it is an Apple problem.

I did Apple chat support but he did not have a solution, powered down, took the SIM card in and out but basically achieved nothing. I cannot get in to an Apple rep in the area for at least two days. Help, please! Thank you! Christine

If you see No Service or Searching in the status bar on your iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular), your device isn't connected to a cellular network. If you see SOS or "SOS only" in the status bar, your device can still make emergency calls.
