iTunes not syncing amended tracks to iPhone

If I change the ID3 tag of an existing song in iTunes I.e. I change the album title or add artwork….for some reason that song will be deleted and will not sync. The only way I have found so far is to delete all songs and resin the entire library. It’s doing my head in.

Is there a bug in IOS 16.5 that effects syncing songs from a PC itunes library? I've recently updated to IOS16.5 on my iPhone 12. In my PC iTunes library, I have 10689 songs in multiple playlists. After synching today my iPhone iTunes library only synched 9013 songs with the rest "grayed" out in my iPhone. I tried again and this time only 8798 synched. And yet again I synched and only 8733 synched. I've never had this problem with earlier IOS versions. All 10689 songs in my PC iTunes library are ticked to sync with my iPhone. Is there a bug either in IOS16.5 or iTunes? Please advise. Thank You Colin F.

music library no longer syncs I used to be able to purchase a song from iTunes on my iPhone, and it would automatically download to my iPad as well. However, the last two songs I’ve purchased aren’t syncing correctly. It looks like I have all my settings in place but it’s still not working. I tried to reboot both devices and it still doesn’t work. Any suggestions?

After iOS 17 itunes won't sync all songs to iphone 13 I use my Music Library as an mp3 player - I do not subscribe to Apple Music. All my music is stored on my PC, and I sync it to my iphone 13 using itunes. After I updated my iphone to ios 17, some of the songs stopped syncing. I have 6600+ songs in the library in itunes, and even though I have sync entire library checked, it will only sync 1100 of them. It has removed all the rest from the iphone. The sync worked fine in ios 16. I've reinstalled the Music App, and tried just syncing select playlists in itunes, and it still doesn't sync all songs. All the songs are fine in itunes on the PC, but I can't get them to sync with the Music app anymore. ITunes is fully updated, as is my phone.
