Transit cards on my iPhone are for other countries

I am in the uk and the only transit cards offered are china, Hong Kong and the USA. I have checked all my settings and my apple account is firmly in the uk. How do I select uk transit cards?

Can't add US transit card - only Chinese cards show up as options. Trying to add a watma transit card to the wallet on my iPhone (connected to iCloud and updated to the latest iOS). When I choose to add a transit card a bunch of Chinese transit cards appear, as if the phone thinks I'm in China. Location is set to the US.

iOS Wallet - Transit Cards - Poor Choice When Will Apple Add More Countries To iPhone Wallet Transit Cards? I'm fine if I live in China but what about the UK, Canada etc? It's been ages now since they promised improvements.

None of the U.K. transit authorities have partnered with Apple yet for Apple to be able to offer the service.
