Notification frequently appears on MacBookAir
I go into updates, and there is noting to update! It started appearing about 6 weeks ago.
Would anybody know what this is please.

That link should take you directly to his proposed solution. I have not experienced what you described so I am unable to confirm its accuracy, but it seems reasonable and harmless enough to try.
- This assumes you are the only authorized user of that Mac, that it is and always has been exclusively yours to own and control, and that it is not "managed" by an employer, school, or similar institution.
