Apple Contacts - Spinning wheel - EXTREMELY SLOW

When is Apple going to fix the PAINFULLY SLOW Contacts problem with the spinning wheel? I know I've seen MANY OTHERS complain about the same thing. This is a BASIC FUNCTION that is very important to everyone using Apple devices. The slowness, delay, and pausing is really a disservice. Please advise if this will be solved anytime soon. Thank you.

Contacts is SUPER slow My Contacts application is super slow. I am often staring at the pinwheel for minutes on end when doing simple name searches. Does anybody know how to fix this issue?
