Random shutter noise while driving

I drive with my iPhone 13 running iOS 16.2 magnetically mounted to the dash. Sometimes it makes a camera shutter sound when I go over a bump; sometimes happens without a bump, seemingly random. Anybody ever dealt with this and solved the issue?

Sometimes, when connected to Bluetooth devices like car systems, headphones, or speakers, certain actions or connections can inadvertently trigger sounds. Try disconnecting from any Bluetooth devices and see if the issue persists.

Check if the physical buttons on your iPhone, particularly the volume buttons, are being accidentally pressed due to the bump or vibration. Pressing the volume buttons can also trigger the camera shutter sound.

If you're using a magnetic mount or any other accessories, they might be causing interference with the phone's sensors. Make sure that the accessories are properly aligned and not pressing on any buttons or interfering with the phone's normal operation.

The atypical camera shutter sound you're experiencing suggests an irregularity. It's plausible that certain third-party apps installed on your device, designed to detect motion, could be inadvertently triggering this sound activation. Investigating these applications might provide insight into the root cause of the issue.
