Purchase content (movies) not appearing

I purchased several films on iTunes/Apple TV, and they are no longer appearing in my account. The link provided in a previous discussion on this topic to "re-download" content no longer works.

Wondering if this info. from Apple support (link below) may be helpful.

"Learn what to do if you can't redownload an item or if you don't see the item in your purchases."

If there's an issue when you redownload apps, movies, or other content from Apple - Apple Support

Thank you for the response. But no, that was not helpful. This is a clearly identified issue, that is not related to redownloading. The issue is that Apple sometimes loses their license to content, and when they do, you lose access to the movie you purchased. But for this movie, Apple does renewed their license to sell, and in fact will gladly resell you the movie, but will not restore your access to the movie that you paid for. Accountability.

Mmmm. thank you kindly for your reply, and for letting us know. Sorry it was not that simple for you.

Seems that when companies re-issue movies in a different format, eg Blue-ray / HD, the old, lesser, previously purchased or rented format may not always remain available.
