Is there a way to disable all boot-up options aside from power button on 2018 MacBook Pro?

I'd like to be able to turn my mac on only with the power button. At the moment, it is turning on when I touch the keyboard or plug it in, which I have to do sometimes after I've powered it off for the night. If it accidentally turns on again, then I have to wait until it boots up and goes through the super bright apple screen just to turn it off again which is driving me crazy. Anyone want to be my hero and help me out?

It is considered a feature.

Granted this is not appreciated by everyone, with no user option to disable...

You can you can submit your Apple Feedback here: Product Feedback - Apple

you can try from Terminal.app the old way for INTEL MACHINES, not the M1/M2:

sudo nvram AutoBoot=%00

report back your success or failure
