Can’t find wife’s phone

I own a 14 iPhone and an iPhone 5 that my wive uses. We both share our locations.

when I also owned an iPhone 5, I could send her device a loud find my phone sound on her phone. But the 14 I recently purchased “sees” her location but now the FMP on my -4 won’t send her any sound.

But she can send my 14 a loud FMP sound.

Suggestions?

iPhone 14

Hi there TA@241,

You'll want to start by making sure you're both members of the same Family Sharing group and you both have Location Sharing turned on:

Help find a missing device
If you turned on Find My for your device and you share your location with your Family Sharing group, your family can help you locate your device if it goes missing. Family members can:
* See the location and online or offline status of your device.
* Play a sound on your missing device to help you find it.
* Put your device in Lost Mode if it was already set up with a passcode.
* Remotely erase a device.

You'll find this information here: Share your location with your family - Apple Support

We'd suggest checking your new iPhone to be sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you use for Family Sharing in Settings. Then, make sure Location Sharing is turned on for both devices.

Take care.
