Troubleshooting Updates:

No. I am not having these issues.

Report this as an Update Bug:

Did you just update you iOS to iOS16? If so, it may be a but in ht update. So, report this to Apple...

Giving Apple Feedback:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this post
  4. Proceed from there as necessary

Nope. Not a single issue on my iPhone 14 Pro Max or iPhone 14 Pro. No touch issues. No app issues. No Wifi issues. No stuttering. Nothing at all.

Instead of waiting for some magical fix for issues, which aren't effecting the majority of users out there who are running iOS 16.6 on their phones, you would be better served, by scheduling an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar and show them the issues you're seeing. The things you've mentioned are not common issues at all.

I have family members also missing alerts intermittently. And it is more than a little frustrating to get tech support for erratic issues when you can’t necessarily demonstrate the issue at the Genius Bar. The first line of defense is to wipe settings out, and as I mentioned, I’m hoping to avoid having to reconfigure everything.

IMO one advantage of forums is to find out if others are experiencing the same issues. So far on this thread you are outnumbered ;) (I’m being sarcastic because you were snarky)

For what it’s worth, I have AT&T. In my experience Apple and AT&T often disagree about with which company the trouble lies. That also makes me less motivated to run to the Genius Bar until I’m sure it is my best option. It is not convenient, potentially extremely frustrating, likely to require me to spend a lot of time to get my phone just the way I like it again… nothing against Genius Bar — it’s just the nature of mysterious glitches. If I can’t even show them the problem they are limited in what they can do to fix it and must resort to extreme measures.

thanks for your input though.

I am experiencing the intermittent slow touch response as well, but even more distressing is that I intermittently do not get alert sounds for sms and iMessages. It’s very frustrating. I really, really don’t want to have to redo all of my settings, so I’m hoping they have a fix in 16.6.1 rather than making me going through resetting a bunch of stuff. I just hate when I get everything customized the way I like it and then have to reset settings to clear out glitches. I reboot fairly often, so that’s not the answer.(14 pro max, 16.6)
