Apple TV "sorry there was a problem with Apple Music"

When using Siri on my Apple phone, I asked it to play or shuffle a specific playlist from my library on my Apple TV or home theater but I keep getting a message that says "sorry there was a problem with Apple Music." The music plays fine on any of my computers but not on the Apple TV unless I manually start it. Every once in a while it will work but 99% of the time it will not. All of the other threads I have seen regarding this issue are related to the home speaker or other issues but do not address the Apple TV. None of the proposed solutions on the other threads works for this either.

I just got off the phone with support and it all came down to "that's not what it was designed to do. I don't know why you were able to but you can't anymore."

As a disabled person with limited mobility, using the voice activated Siri to start a playlist, shuffle it, etc. is extremely beneficial and I used it quite frequently. I used my phone to do that all the time and I have my phone with me all the time. Instead, they tell me I need to use the Apple TV remote, which defeats the purpose of having a remote function on the Apple phone. I do not take the Apple TV remote with me from room to room while I do have my phone with me. If that is not what it was designed to do, but was working, why did you change it? Make it more accessible!
