How do I unsilence a contact?

One of my contacts has a silence icon on my text messages. How do I unsilence this contact

Tap on a text message, swipe to the left.

The bell with the slash that means sound is Off.

Tap on it and the sound is On.

I don’t see those options when I swipe either left or right. Maybe it’s different with a newer iOS than was available in the original post?
