Downloading to external hard drive from my Mac laptop OS13
Old way using Preferences/General doesn't work for OS 13 Ventura. What is the new way for Settings or other?

If you are using Safari to download, you can choose the default download directory here:
Safari > Settings > General.....Choose "File download location" and set to your preference.
