Cannot copy and paste keyframes or curves in the keyframe editor

Hi! I'm having trouble copying and pasting keyframes and/or curves in the keyframe editor. I can copy it, but as you can see in the GIF, somehow the "paste" option is always grey out, whether I right-click on an empty area, or on a keyframe. How do I get this to work? I cannot do it in the Timeline either.

FYI, I KNOW it can be done because I was somehow able to do it in another project.

Thanks in advance!

OK so I managed to find a way around it.

  1. It seems that I need to rely on keyboard shortcuts instead of right-clicking;
  2. You can see that when I pasted, the keyframes would paste to the topmost behavior for the layer. So I moved the behavior I wanted to modify ("Top right IN") to the top, and then hit Cmd + V, and that worked.
  3. The "Paste" option in the right-click menu was greyed out the entire time. However, the "Paste" option in the "Edit" menu in the menu bar for Motion was available.

Either Motion is just being stupidly quirky here, or I'm completely missing something haha.

Hi

You are not making the selections correctly. Don't click directly where you want to paste. Use drag to select it.

Just a side note ~ if all 4 movement options have the same keyframe curves - your method is not efficient. Keep going with this though, and when it is done, if you want, share and we can discuss better ways to build this. I am assuming the behaviors with a custom speed parameter I see are Motion paths?
