Saving radio stations on iMusic/iTunes

This has been asked many times before, and now for many years, frequently viewed, and still not fixed. The only reason not to add this feature would be a profit/money related issue as it is otherwise rather simple. At this point, I will keep asking it and add different possible leads from the history of radios to aid Apple in how to solve this incredibly difficult problem ...

In the 1930's, at the dawn of music in cars, widely distributed "radio receivers" often from Motorola and the American Galvin Manufacturing Corporation had an amazing feature of buttons on the radio stack to tune to preset stations ! This was specifically solved and in wide distribution by 1936. Models such as the Motorola 250 had "push-button station presets." Stations at the time were on a continuous spectrum of frequencies floating in the air, in some areas a near 600+ stations as early as the 1920s.

I think Apple should maybe look at the amazing technology they had uncovered some 90 years ago ... or ... come out and admit there is a specific non-user driven reason why this feature is not addressed after years of this simple request and question by users.

I cannot answer for Apple. iTunes used to have this feature. It hasn't made it over to Music. I don't think it is coming back, but by all means use Feedback - Apple Music - Apple to share your thoughts.

I've made a web page that lists the Internet radio stations from iTunes that are not listed in Music and describes how you can access them in the new app. Hopefully you can find what you're looking for at iTunes | Internet Radio.

Note that it is now some time since I gathered this data. Look through it recently it seems many of the links might now be out of date, however the principle remains, if you can locate a valid streaming URL you should be able to open it in Music or iTunes and save the link to your library in a playlist so you can use it again later.
