Am i blocked?

Hello people,

I am trying to find out if i have been blocked by someone without having to send another call or imessage.

When i go to the imessage convo between this person and I, I notice that at different times of this appears in the imessage "XYZ has notifications silenced", especially during night time. Then that message goes away during the day time. Does this mean that i am not blocked? Because if i was i would not be able to see this on and off switch at all? would i?
