Photos Settings only shows General and iCloud, no Shared Library
I want to use iCloud Shared Library but I don't have the option in my Photos Settings. Why is it not showing?

If your Photos is still showing "Preferences" and not "Settings", your system version does not yet support the Shared Photos Library.
You will need to upgrade to macOS 13 Ventura. Photos is a part of the system. You cannot upgrade to a newer version of Photos without upgrading the system.

To be clear, I'm looking under Preferences under the Photos dropdown menu. It's not labeled Settings even though that is what the Apple doc say it should be labeled as. Is there another place to access Photo Settings on my Mac?
What version of Photos are you using on what version of macOS? Shared Library is a recent feature, starting with Photos 8.0 on macOS Ventura.
