Converting Quicktime Pro movies to be able to play them on 13.5+ Macs

I'm running Ventura on a 2021 Macbook Pro M1. What third party apps work to convert older Quicktime Pro (Quicktime PRO, not Quicktime) movies?

The current QT version 10.5 will not do it. "Video Converter" and VLC won't do it. "Final Video Player" opened the file but there was no audio.

Need an answer. I have thousands of research files that will be lost without a solution.

The usual answer is to watch such old movies with now unsupported codecs or wrappers with IINA or VLC. Or convert them with Handbrake or ffmpeg.

What codecs and wrappers do those movies have? You can check the codecs with MediaInfo or Invisor.
