"Files" app on my new iPhone 14 pro is frozen

When I open my "files" app on my NEW iPhone 14 pro it is frozen. I cannot select a file or type a file name in the search box. I tried deleting the "files" app and reinstalling it from the App Store, but it is still frozen.
